CUSD 10 Fourth Graders Are Invited to Enter the Sodexo Future Chefs Competition

A colorful poster announces the 15th Anniversary Future Chefs National Challenge, inviting 4th graders to participate in a culinary competition.Hey Collinsville CUSD 10 4th grade students! Are there any aspiring chefs out there? 

You can showcase your skills by participating in the upcoming Future Chefs Challenge sponsored by our food service provider, Sodexo. Fill out an entry form for your recipe and you’ll be in the running to participate in a live competition at Collinsville High School on May 7, 2025.

This year’s competition theme is “Complete the plate with your favorite main dish.” We are looking for your creative ideas, twists on classics, trending dishes or something completely new. We’ll provide the sides; you only need to create the main dish!

You can enter the Sodexo/CUSD10 Future Chefs competition by submitting your information to the QR code above OR by using this link. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. ON THURSDAY, APRIL 10, 2025. 

You will be asked to enter your name, school, teacher’s name and recipes. All entries are welcome and available for submission. A distinguished panel of administrators will evaluate the submissions and choose five finalists who will compete in the live competition at CHS.  The five finalists will be announced on April 17. 

The winning recipe will be awarded first place. Sodexo has lined up great prizes, not only for our winning entry, but for the other four finalists as well.

We know our 4th graders will create some amazing dishes.  We are excited to see what you share with us!
